Candyman87 10 Posted September 3, 2014 ...and I'm in love. Another great transaction from the guys at RTSP! I've been drooling over the PPQ for a while now (and typically rent theirs on my way home from the office if I need to shoot without getting home first) and I'm proud to say I now have my own! One PPQ M2 in 9mm, two magazines, two boxes of 9mm and two targets makes this guy a happy, happy camper!

EWC88 24 Posted September 3, 2014 Looking at getting one as soon as I put my permits in (been so busy haven't been able to). I am hoping though to find/get a M1 in 9mm. I must say though, post pictures of that beautiful weapon!
acaixguard 37 Posted September 3, 2014 Congrats. Great gun. Just get some decent sights for it, and you'll be set!

Earlswagger 13 Posted September 3, 2014 Did you go 4" or 5"? I'm personally torn.
Candyman87 10 Posted September 3, 2014 Gun porn coming soon (the light in my basement is awful). That being said, this is Walther #4 and this has just become my favorite. Earl, I went with the 4" even with the 5" right next to it. If I'm only going to have one, it's going to be the 4" so I can carry it in free America one day. The 5" is beautiful, but too much to spend on a range/target gun right now for me.
Oleg 8 Posted September 3, 2014 I went with 5" because it is primarily range gun for me. It is a kinda big gun.
Earlswagger 13 Posted September 3, 2014 I thought the same thing. I gotta say thou, the 1/2 inch isn't a deal breaker with the right holster. Then again, I lived in free america for years, and carried, and I never had a 4" on, it was always something smaller. so... I think I will do the 5" as this is a range gun, it actually is something the wife is looking at for the range.
SgtToadette 59 Posted September 5, 2014 Welcome to the club! I'll still hate on you a bit for getting the M2, though
Candyman87 10 Posted September 5, 2014 Welcome to the club! I'll still hate on you a bit for getting the M2, though I was actually indifferent to the M1/M2 bit. Either is fine with me. On the M1 I'm used to the paddle from my P22. On the M2 the mag release button is right under my thumb. The only handgun I haven't had to reposition my brio to hit it with my girly hands! ChrisJM981 924 Posted September 8, 2014 I love my PPQ M1. Hopefully I can get out and shoot it soon.
Candyman87 10 Posted September 8, 2014 I love my PPQ M1. Hopefully I can get out and shoot it soon. If you ever get out to RTSP, let me know. I'd like to compare the M1 to the M2!
