Permit to carry from other states into NJ

Recommended Posts

I laugh at the talk of "constitutionality" concerning ANY laws passes in NJ.

The Post yesterday had some pretty scathing words for this piece of shit prosecutor. He HAD to have had the video. No question. Same goes for NFL security. An organization staffed with pretty big names from national and international law enforcement. It ain't mall cops that run NFL security.

Rant on:

Yet they all failed the system, battered women and "what's right" over ratings for the reality show called the National Football League. Hunger Games ain't shit compared to the NFL.

The Ravens had a web page called "I like Ray Rice" and they made his wife apologize for "her role" in the incident. Really?

As long as the masses are hypnotized by the spectacle, those that control the media and our politicians can continue to strip us of our ability to defend ourselves from them. The spectacle must continue. Even if a few of the modern gladiators in the Circus Maximus are less than law abiding. I venture to guess that there are more felons in the NFL than in congress. Maybe.

Sharpton, Deblasio and their cronies are set on stripping LE of any ability to control the shitbags with illegally gotten guns while they limit the law abiding from defending themselves from said shitbags.

In other words, all this is but a symptom of the same disease. Prosecute the shit out of a single mom that crossed an imaginary line with an instrument of self defense, but a guy that beat a human being unconscious gets a huge pass. Possess a regular capacity magazine in NJ and get more jail time than if you commit rape. See a similarity?

I wonder if the NFL should set up concussion guidelines for player's significant others? She sure as hell looked like she got one.

This crap makes me angry as hell.

:Rant off.

I know people that carry to NFL games and have for years. And will next week. No law against it. In the rare instance they find it, they tell you to put it in your car.

I know a guy who carried to a Phillies game and suddenly realized he was seated 15 feet away from Joe Biden.

Yeah, super security. No mall cops need apply.

I thought they wanded people down and stuff? Then again I went to Yankee stadium and they just waved me through. They were more interested in my tickets and whether they were genuine and not counterfeit. Sports venues aren't really high security are they?

Did you think I meant the Securitas security contractors that stand at the entrances? That's rich. Not security as in protect the fans, security as in protect the players and administration. Those are all real x-LE and x-military. Trust me on that. The guy that stands in front of the dug out and drives Hal Steinbrenner used to run the NYPD bomb squad. just as an example.

When NFL security services called The Revel security and the AC cops they got whatever they wanted.

Look up the new NFL security program called All Clear. I'm going to the futbol game tonight at MetLife and we have to abide by it.

No bags bigger than your hand. Unless they are small clear bags.

Boy I sure feel safer now.

Well they have magnetometers in selected entrances at Yankee stadium and by next season they will have them at all entrances. The security guards profile for sure. Some get searched and some don't. Just like getting on a plane. The other day I went to Citifield(don't laugh) and they wanded me. I walked right in with my EDC knife right in my pocket. I totally forgot. And I think the wand wasn't calibrated properly nor the operator.

Regardless of all that, take a minute to read what it says on the back of your tickets. They have no responsibility to protect you. Even in cases where they were negligent. So if I stabbed some one, the victim can't go after the Mets for allowing me in with the knife. They are not guaranteeing a safe environment. You already paid your money. It's a business.

Brand, administration and player security they take seriously. In that order.

I only go to the suite. I never go to the regular seats. No magnetometers at that entrance. At least not last time I was there which was earlier this year. And no I did not carry into Yankee stadium. Not even off duty cops are allowed to carry there.

Trying not to be "that guy" but I go in the same entrance and never get searched. From what I hear their will be magnetometers there too. Actually I prefer going in the offices to the left of gate 2. Not too many know about that entrance.

But both leagues NFL MLB are trying to shore up security. They may know something we don't.

The Philly stadiums have gun lockers. Up until a few years ago, my friends would carry to baseball games as well. If they got caught (like 1 in 50), or if they didn't want to risk it (there with a new girl) they would ask to go to the lockers. They are in a police area and you could lock up your gun.

About 3 years ago MLB made a sweeping policy against guns and they stopped letting you lock up your gun. Now if they catch you they tell you to put it in your car. No other option.

Well that's better than prison, I guess.

I like this passage:

"The legislation, which the Senators plan to introduce on Sept. 15, would allow judges to use discretion when sentencing individuals who are charged with unlawful possession of a firearm while in New Jersey, in cases where the individual is an out-of-state resident who legally possesses a firearm in their own state."

If they start allowing people from other states to carry in NJ, this might open the door for us.

"To use discretion when sentencing" in this state means 25 years to life instead of merely 5 to 10. If you don't think some judges here, including Republicans, would consider that I have a bridge to sell you.

Puzzled by the "open door" comment: I would not be interested in my family's future depending on someone's discretion. Or do you mean something else?
