Any shops sell 10/22 receivers?

Recommended Posts

I purchased some aftermarket stuff to build a nice little .22 bench gun. I'm still waiting for the stuff in the mail, but now that I think about it, I don't want to rip apart a perfectly good gun to build another....

Does anyone know of any shops that sell 10/22 receivers?

Ahh shit I meant to say any local NJ/PA gun shops. Where I could pick up and have it same day.

I don't know of any local either but if you wind up having to order one, NoDak Spud builds them as well. I've been eying up their OD Green 10/22 Receiver for $165. Unfortunately once you add in the transfer cost of a receiver its not much less than a cheap 10/22.  :(

If you do find one locally I'd be interested in one as well.

If you want it same day, you need to buy in NJ, receivers can only be purchased by instate residents who are 21 or older.

So....are you saying you have receivers for sale or just pointing out the obvious??

No, I don't have any 10/22 receivers because I've never had anyone ask me for one........

But you stated you wanted to pick up a receiver same day in NJ or PA. You cannot buy a receiver in PA directly unless you are a dual NJ/PA resident.

Why not is it not the same as a lower or any other firearm. Not questioning you just curious what the difference is

Only long guns can be bought out of state. A receiver is not a long gun. It has to go BANG to be a long gun.
