I know it's not a great price but I have to have standard velocity as it's an old (WWII era) gun. I've read several warnings to only use standard velocity or risk damaging it.

If I had reason to be in the area I would. But it's a 100 mile round trip for me. The cost of gas and my time spent on a Saturday isn't worth the $25 or $30 I'd save.

Yeah, they are only about 25 miles away. I'll keep them in mind for next time. Dick's and Effinger's are only about 10 min from me. Neither had standard velocity 22.

 

Guess I'll evetually just have to purchase a modern 22.

And delivered to my front door a little earlier this afternoon.

 

I haven't experienced the "long delays" with PSA.  This is only my second order.  First was my upper earlier this year.  Took about 3 weeks to get to me.  If I recall correctly they said about 2-3 weeks and that was when I received it. 

 

So far I've been happy with PSA.

PSA is fine when you dont need it right away..  i havent had any issues with them either, but then ive never been impatiently waiting to get something from them.
