Vintage firearms in active service

Recommended Posts

Most WWII USGI small arms are being used in some fashion by somebody. The Israelis like our carbines, Greeks up until recently used Garands, the Philippines use our grease guns, etc.

It's just amazing to see Webley revolvers and Enfield rifles still in service, Speaking of the Israelis they not only have a ton of our WW2 firearms but a lot of surplus pistols from the 50's-80's are coming in from Israel for the US market.

Like what? I'm curious. Sounds like a cheap way to get some cool guns.

I know that K98ks were used as recently as the conflict in Bosnia, and again in Iraq because they found they defeated US body armor. Hell, we still use the M14, I'm not sure if they're placing new orders for them or not, but I know they were pulling a lot of them out of storage because they were more effective in some of the conditions of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Visit this site:  iammo.net

For the Israel Military surplus guns click: https://www.iammo.com/Guns/Pre-Owned-Firearms

Terry (the owner) has a bunch of Beretta, Smith & Wesson, Sigs, Brownings, etc. from the Israel govt. at good prices and the guns are in good to very good condition.

A lot of items show out of stock, call him up if you are looking for something that shows not in stock they usually have it just not updated on the website.
