vladtepes 1,060 Posted September 26, 2014 I originally wanted the inforce pistol light.. but after some research I have found that the pistol light does not perform as well as the carbine light so x300 it is.. this is what I need.. Glock 22 Surefire light easy on and off small footprint (I had a raven and it was OK but I did not like how wide it was left to right) cant adjustment preferred but not a deal breaker I would like it to ride high so I can wear it under a sweatshirt and or jacket that is all.. any input is greatly appreciated.. NYMetsFan86 9 Posted September 26, 2014 custom kydex owb holster? Got my 19 holster with room for tlr from these guys....love it http://crownholsters.com/products/holsters/modular-holsters/royal-light-compatible-holsters.html
High Exposure 5,635 Posted September 26, 2014 IWB or OWB? Concealed or duty? Check JM Custom Kydex: http://www.jmcustomkydex.com Smaller footprint than the Raven and multiple styles to choose from. I also really like Comp-Tac stuff. For duty type Safariland ALS is THE answer. They even make a higher ride and concealabe ALS that's pretty nice. Oh, and spend the extra $ and get the SF X300U and a DG11 switch.
vladtepes 1,060 Posted September 26, 2014 OWB considering the ALS but when I look to try to find the right one I get lost in an endless sea of part numbers..
vladtepes 1,060 Posted September 26, 2014 the JM is too wide left to right similar to the raven.. that is the setup I want to get away from...
High Exposure 5,635 Posted September 26, 2014 The width is necessary to give you the stability on a low pro OWB holster Check this CompTac offering: http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=137 For Safariland you want model #: 6377, 6378, 6379 Contact ATS: http://www.atstacticalgear.com/cgi/commerce.cgi?display=home if you get confused with the Safariland stuff. They are the most helpful people I have yet to meet when trying to navigate Safarilands product lineup.

vladtepes 1,060 Posted September 27, 2014 the safariland offering will NOT fit the G22 if I decide to get with the RMR down the road.. is that correct?

High Exposure 5,635 Posted September 27, 2014 the safariland offering will NOT fit the G22 if I decide to get with the RMR down the road.. is that correct?Correct, those models will not fit with an RMR without some modification. Safariland does have a couple of models that do fit a light and RMR combo. This is an ALS holster for a G35 with X300U w/DG11 and RMR: They make it in black, but I don't know the part number off the top of my head. It is not on their "Will-Fit" page yet either. ATS or Grey Group can help you track one down. Also, check Dale Fricke Holsters: http://dalefrickeholsters.com for RMR capable CCW holsters. They make good stuff. n4p226r 105 Posted November 10, 2014 Does that only fit if the RMR is flush with the rear of the slide?
High Exposure 5,635 Posted November 11, 2014 I don't think so. Mine is set with irons in front, but I think it would work fine with irons behind the RMR.
