Any experience with Wideners?

Hello,

 

Has anyone bought anything from Wideners?

 

To order something from their site I have to register an account, and one of the fields on the registration form is 

 

FFL/C&R and/or Photo ID:
A copy of FFL/C&R on file is required for all firearm orders and photo ID verifying age is required for ammo / powder / primers / tracers.
You may upload the following file types only - gif, jpg, tif, pdf, png.

 

Does that mean that only FFL's can order guns from Wideners?

anyone can they just ask for copy of FID and dl for ammo. They will require your ffl send their info if you buy a firearm

i've bought ammo from them a few times. i felt i got good service, the ammo came out pretty quick. i did have to send them a copy of my fpid, and dl though.

I never sent them an ID.

 

I've ordered from probably 50 companies. Sent 3 IDs (one when I was stupid, two when I just had to have what they had). Talked maybe 3 companies out of IDs.

 

Wideners has always been good to me. Only maybe 5 orders over 10 years though.

Never bought a gun, mostly reloading components and such. They are a decent company to deal with, but no idea if they have a order it yourself mechanism for guns like buds does, or if your FFL has to call it in.
