I'm not sure if prices will skyrocket. It's possible, but I think they're going to remain consistent. Odds are they'll try and cut costs by either doing some things cheaper, or (hopefully), just modernizing production. It is good to see they have a way around the ban, I bet some people who bought panic-saigas are kinda feeling salty. I know that this came out of left field for me.

Just wondering, I only knew that saigas and weapons from kalishnakov concern were banned. What was the specific wording that allows this acquisition to circumvent the ban?

Great !!! I hope they will actually invest into the business. They need better machines, better QC, better steel for the barrels, better rifling on the barrel and on and on ....

Sorry to necropost, but I've been wondering if there's any update on this. I haven't heard anything about imports resuming (or even plans for that). Just wondering if anyone knows the status of Saiga imports.
