Does the buyer have to have a matching address on his NJDL and FID card for a FTF sale? If the two don't have to

match then what address would be the one to list on the COE? Thanks

No they dont have to match......

 

I would use the current address on the COE

I'll jack this thread for a second. There is a guy interested in buying my pistol he has a permit ready. Is there a website that has instructions for face to face sales of pistols in NJ. I want to make sure we are both 100% compliant.

Just make sure his DL proves his identity as stated on the P2P.  Complete as required.  You give him his copy and you take the rest.  You are required to mail the local issuing agency and NJSP copies to the addresses noted on the P2P within 5 days.  Your responsibility is then complete.
