Pro Gun Spin on Popular Liberal Bumper Sticker

Recommended Posts

What makes the coexist sticker a "liberal" bumper sticker.  When did promoting religious tolerance become partisan?

I think the stickers are pointless, tacky, generally only used to make wannabe wannabe hippies and suburbanites feel like they are impressing everyone with their progressing thinking.  But they don't have some political message attached even if they tend to be used by people on the left.  Freedom of religion is as 1st Amendment (the one that comes before 2nd, and which we defend with the 2nd) right.  Even if someone who has morals based on a specific religion and wants to practice that openly, there's no need to try shun others with different views.  That's all the message means at its core.
