Shawnmoore81 623 Posted October 16, 2014 Was debating between a .22 and a .380. Deal came up today and I ordered it I didn't plan on getting a .380 but my wife got one so I did too.
302w 83 Posted October 16, 2014 I'm so torn on those things. I really want a Mustang, but they're godawful expensive. I lean more towards the alloy frame myself.
SOG 7 Posted October 16, 2014 Have you looked at a Sig P238 ? They look the same, but the Sig doesn't have a plastic rod guide. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dr.Jimmy Rustler 23 Posted October 16, 2014 I'm sorry to hear you purchased a .

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm honestly on the fence with sig. I've now gotten a return label to send my 2nd sig back. I think the 226/229 and others of that platform are great guns. But I'm losing confidence. I have 2 colts and both are solid. One even survived Vietnam.
Old School 611 Posted October 16, 2014 Shawn - I saw the post and thought why the hell a 380 and spend "Colt Money"? Then I looked at the specs.... Light, small (I guess don't see dimensions) and the big plus is a REAL trigger with decent pull. Carried cocked and locked you seem to have a winner. Old School 611 Posted October 16, 2014 They are small. The guide rod if a problem is an easy fix ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413459341.585292.jpg Truth - if it proved reliable, I wouldn't change it. The spring and guide are so short alignment shouldn't be a problem. Think how short the guide is on a 1911 GI.
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted October 16, 2014 Only gonna change if it breaks. Doubt it will
