warden469 2 Posted October 17, 2014 Finally bought a chronograph to check my reloads. Gun shop where I bought it told me they hardly sell them anymore. I was wondering if you guys use them. I have heard some people say they are necessary and others say you don't need one. I want to see how accurate I am getting to the reload data.
Vlad G 345 Posted October 17, 2014 The gun shops probably don't sell any because everyone buys them online, usually at much better prices. Almost every reloader I know owns one, or at least one. I use mine probably 5-6 times a year, whenever I change a load or try to come up with a new one.
FishHunter 0 Posted October 17, 2014 Loading soft for idpa or minor PF makes a chrono a requirement. Going too slow will mess up accuracy and possibly your gun - if you squib a round
