millsan1 3 Posted October 21, 2014 And what of this? http://www.phillymag.com/news/2014/10/01/marijuana-possession-civil-offense-in-philadelphia-decriminalized/ All drugs should be legal, regulated and taxed, IMHO.
mipafox 438 Posted October 21, 2014 All drugs should be legal, regulated and taxed, IMHO. No regulation is necessary, and please no tax. Every new dollar the government gets is two they spend. The only way to fix their problems is to starve them into austerity. I would rather put money in a pile and burn it than give it to the government. Midwest 28 Posted October 21, 2014 It is being reported on now.... Pennsylvania House moves to expand gun rights, keep pigeon shootshttp://www.guns.com/2014/10/21/pennsylvania-house-moves-to-expand-gun-rights-keep-pigeon-shoots-video/ "The gun rights bill, an amendment to HB 80, an item of metal theft legislation, had passed the state Senate last week by wide margins. It allows groups such as the National Rifle Association to stand in for local citizens in challenging gun city and county control ordinances stronger than the state’s own laws in court. The move sailed through the House in an easy 138-56 vote Monday, the last day of the two-year session.Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter and Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto, both of whom have strong anti-gun ordinances on their cities books, were quick to denounce the legislation, which is now headed to the governor’s desk." Newtonian 453 Posted October 23, 2014 If your city passed a law that said all black people had to be rounded up and hung, would that be a legal law? Oh c'mon not ALL black people. Jeez. And hanging? Yikes.
revenger 473 Posted October 23, 2014 Does anyone know if he Fl or UT permits for us (non-residents) will ever be accepted in PA again, I thought the legislature was going to vote to override the AG's changes? anyone have any info on this.
njJoniGuy 2,131 Posted October 24, 2014 No change yet. A Texas CCW (also available to non-residents) is still valid for us PRNJ prisoners to carry in PA But the kicker is that you must take both the classroom test and the shooting portion of the proficiency exam within the state of Texas.
