While not a great deal it's better than nothing....maybe. TargetUSA has Remington Thunderbolt .22lr 40grain lead RN  500 rounds (limit 2) for $42.45.

I bought them some time ago. These are easily the worst .22lr rounds ever. Why do they even bother to make them?

I've bought a couple of bricks of the thunderbolt over the last year out of desperation.  They lead up barrels and won't shoot straight.

 

I spent several days fooling around with a new scope, inspecting and cleaning my rifle's bore, and all sorts of other stuff to try to figure out why I was shooting 5" groups at 50 yds.  Stopped shooting the Thunderbolt and everything went back to normal.

Just call your local Dick's Sporting goods and check on their 22lr ammo. My two local ones have had those in 525 round boxes for around $24 pretty regular lately. Yes they are pretty crappy but most still go "bang" and the kids love to shoot them. That price above is pretty high.

I've been calling all the local stores. Dicks doesn't have anything and the only one that had anything was Effinger's a few weeks ago had Rem buckets but I didn't have a 22 at the time.
