how reliable is it?

The Sig and GSG 1911 are like down to $200 nowadays. Don't get ripped off.

Mine has been great.  Doesn't like the lesser brands of .22lr - It likes CCI minimags and has been reliable with them, but it does need more frequent cleaning than my other handguns.

I have one and if you use HV ammo you should have no problems. I have shot regular ammo through mine and it works but not as reliable. The slide on the Sig says .22lr HV right on it. I have added some aftermarket parts to mine that made it a touch more accurate.

I also have a Ruger 22/45 and that eats everything and I shoot it much more than the Sig. I have switched to the 22/45 for steel and won't be going back to the Sig. The prices for the Sig have come way down, I paid almost $400 2 years ago and now they are $200.

I have the Sig, nice gun IMO no mechanical issues I can complain about.

I have it. Its a renamed gsg. Nice weapon. I changed the guide rod, bushing and spring. Also modified mags to hold 14.

I remember a while back PSA I believe had a coupon for a free/almost free one if you purchased another gun at the same time. Forget the exact deal but I remember it was free or really cheap.

When I was researching for a .22lr pistol I remember the Sig getting good reviews. I handled one and didn't like the feel and wound up with a Colt/Walther Gold Cup Trophy. If the Sig fits you then go for it and good luck.
