Cheek pad/riser recomendations

Recommended Posts

I need a pad or riser to raise my cheek on my Mossberg 500 when I'm shooting slugs and using a scope. I know Mossberg sells a version of the 500 that comes with stock with an adjustable comb on it, but I can't find the stock by itself anywhere. Can anyone recommend a good cheek pad for use with a slug gun? I want something the fits well and is secure. Also, I want something that is removable so I can take it off when I'm using the bird barrel.

I use this with my .222

I don't have anything to compare it to but it's effective and doesn't mar the stock at all. It's definately removable but it's a bit of a struggle to get it on and situated so I wouldn't want to take it on and off frequently

If you wanted to go the factory look route or don't like the look of the other options, you can always buy this.
