AR to 6.5 Grendel?

If I want to convert my AR to 6.5 Grendel do I just need a barrel and bolt? It will fit on a multi-cal AR15 lower?

Nope, I don't stock any 6.5G stuff even though I like the caliber.  I don't know what has to be done to the follower to make the mags function properly either.

I'm not sure if they are worth modding. Check Alexander arms for the prices in the mags.

Yeah, it really is pricey.  I grabbed 440 pieces new in the box off a guy on the 65Grendel forum.  It still cost me a bundle but it's really good.  I had some wolf factory ammo and I've loaded them once and have yet to fire them yet.

I use Lapua brass in my .308.  If I decide to go the Grendel route, it's what I'll grab.

Not really because I have stuff available but that's nice too.  But it has good case capacity / velocity,  High BC, easy to get brass (just necked 6.5 Grendel) and small rifle primers.
