Howard 538 Posted November 12, 2014 Got to fondle this baby while taking the Glock Armorer's course yesterday. That little lever on the back is not a thumb safety

Mr.Stu 1,884 Posted November 12, 2014 But did you get to shoot it? Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk
Howard 538 Posted November 12, 2014 Only got to fondle it, it can do 1200 rounds per minute, that is 20 rounds per second - so less than a second to dump a NJ legal magazine!
aguilar64 9 Posted November 12, 2014 Where you at the course, I was also there, Alex was pretty cool.
Sandy 44 Posted November 12, 2014 So why didn't you shoot it , Virginia ?
Howard 538 Posted November 12, 2014 Where you at the course, I was also there, Alex was pretty cool. Yes, I was sitting on the right side just behind Tom (RTSP's gunsmith). That was one full day of info! I loved the way Alex kept telling us "you might want to write this down", nothing like making sure everyone passes the exam. NYMetsFan86 9 Posted November 12, 2014 do you need to be affiliated with law enforcement or a range/shop to take this course???
aguilar64 9 Posted November 12, 2014 Alex reminded me of Todd from Smith & Wesson (Also armorer's course)
Howard 538 Posted November 12, 2014 do you need to be affiliated with law enforcement or a range/shop to take this course??? It's only open to law enforcement OR anyone that is a member of GSSF - which costs about $35/yr to join.

diamondd817 823 Posted November 12, 2014 Interesting how simple it is to convert a Glock to full auto. Just a backplate change. Unfortunately, its illegal, so don't try this at home. Here is a Glock 20 in full auto. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2011/03/04/how-to-make-your-glock-fully-automatic/

OfcrFek 21 Posted November 14, 2014 It's only open to law enforcement OR anyone that is a member of GSSF - which costs about $35/yr to join. How often do they do the course? How long was it? How much was it? How would one sign up for it?
Howard 538 Posted November 14, 2014 I think the next one at RTSP is in April, but check with them to find out. It sells out fast so be sure to register early. It was $250 which included lunch and it started at 8am and went till after 5pm. It is a full day. Glock does these all over the country so you could check with them if you want to do it somewhere else sooner.
