JSF01 13 Posted November 16, 2014 So I like recording my range trips when possible, so I decided to use some of those clips to put together to make a more proper YouTube video, where I give some commentary on the firearm I am using. This is footage from my last range trip. It's nothing fancy, but I figure it puts the clips to better use then having them just sitting there. More importantly I figure it will make a good personal learning experience, since I am not really much of a public speaker, as it basically forces me to make a speech. So for your entertainment here is my first attempt. Any one have any recommendations for improvements? Should I focus my narration more on history, on what I am doing in the video, or do I have about the right balance between the two?
amish869 6 Posted November 16, 2014 You might want to replace the extractor. Numrich has tons of parts for old milsurp rifles.

Old School 611 Posted November 16, 2014 The problem doesn't seem to be the extractor but the ejector. The cartridge is always extracted from the chamber but is not kicked out from under the extractor claw. magnawing 5 Posted November 16, 2014 I'm not sure if it's the recording or my iPad but I could barely hear anything other than static & muffled gunshots. This signature is AWESOME!!!
JSF01 13 Posted November 16, 2014 I'm not sure if it's the recording or my iPad but I could barely hear anything other than static & muffled gunshots. This signature is AWESOME!!! I want to say it's your iPad, as I tried it on my tablet while not logged in to YouTube and my voice was is coming through clearly. I am just not sure how you could be hearing the gun shots at all without hearing my speaking as I put the video together completely outside of YouTube and set the narration to louder then the sound coming from the clips. So when I uploaded it Youtube should should only be seeing it as a single file so I don't know how it could separate the two. not sure if this is the right part. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Products/1092280.htm The problem doesn't seem to be the extractor but the ejector. That is the website I had actually just been looking for in the past week But could not remember what it was called so I was having no luck finding it. There are a bunch of random things I need from that site.
