So, it looks like they send a prepaid label, you box the gun and take it to a UPS shipping center. Away it goes.

The UPS guy by me is licensed to ship guns. That being said, he wanted 30 bucks to ship 1 box of ammo. I can't even imagine how much he would want to ship a gun. So, 29 bucks to ship something seems pretty reasonable to me.

Am I not getting something here? I understand this is trying to make it easy but what's so hard about boxing a gun up, writing the addresses on it, and going to USPS to ship it out? I do it frequently and I never find it annoying or anything. But I must be missing something...

You can't ship a handgun through usps unless you are a dealer and have to fill out a 1508 form....

Yeah, I only ship long guns but thanks for the memory refresher. Don't want to make that mistake.

I believe you can only ship long guns in state. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

 

Regardless, sometimes the shipping thing is a deal breaker.
