lunker 274 Posted November 26, 2014 So I am looking to stock up a bit now that bullet heads are finally in stock in most places. What online vendor usually has the best prices on bullet heads? I have used:Midsouth Natchez Wideners Grafs Powder Valley Lastly, I have found a really accurate heavy bullet for my BCM A4 rifle (Hornady 75 Grain BTHP). I am looking for a quality lighter bullet as well for my Colt 6920. I have shot the Federal M193 and found the accuracy to fall off by 300 yards. Perhaps it is my 1:7 twist barrel. Am I better off using a longer bearing surface bullet like 62 grains? Any recommendations there? I don't need a steel penetrator tip like the M855. MidwestPX 172 Posted November 26, 2014 I shoot the 75gr Hornady BTHPs in my 16" seven twist and 18" eight twist guns and they're dead nuts accurate pills. Have you tried them in your 6920? I loathe making adjustments to my bullet seating die so I do everything I can to stick with one bullet when possible.

The 68 grain version of the same bullet can be had in 4500 round cases. I would rather buy in bulk. I would consider that as a "do all". Do you use the version with the cannelure? Do you crimp? The ones I buy do have the cannelue and I do crimp them.
