Magpul SL fit

I got in a couple of the magpul sl hand guards. I attempted to put one on my s&w m&p orc. But they don't fit. I tried 2 different ones and they need to be like 1/8" shorter to clear the gas block to fit on. I'll take a pic later. My moe hand guards fits like a champ. Anyone else have this issue?

Had a bitch of a time installing a set on a friend's.  Need a little dremel here and there and had to dig out the handguard "tuning forK" to move the delta ring back far enough to get it on. Top first then the bottom.

PS, don't do anything for me either.

Did you guys punch out the sling attachment on the front sight post?
