fishnut 2,358 Posted December 10, 2014 I'm in but have been lazy and still don't have a new spring for my thrower
njplinker 8 Posted December 10, 2014 Trying to convince the wife I need to attend. Have a few cases of clays and plenty of shells that I can bring/share if others are willing to share their shotguns (I'm without at the moment).
Lalo 13 Posted December 10, 2014 Hey Adam, let me help you get the part man. Just tell me what to order from where. Trying to convince the wife I need to attend. Have a few cases of clays and plenty of shells that I can bring/share if others are willing to share their shotguns (I'm without at the moment). You should try to make it. It's a lot of fun and don't worry about not having a shotgun. Most people (including myself) are more than willing to lend out theirs.
RecessedFilter 222 Posted December 10, 2014 I'll bring my thrower and I hope my friend can bring his nice one.
DeerSlayer 241 Posted December 10, 2014 I am going to try and make this one also. (Still a maybe at the moment, will know better towards the end of the week) I have an automatic thrower I will bring.
mikka1 2 Posted December 10, 2014 I am in ONLY if CJ USPSA match is cancelled for whatever reason (the problem is if it is cancelled due to weather, there's a big chance this shootout will not withstand the weather either, LOL) - it is exactly at the same time ... again :-(
Camilo 1 Posted December 10, 2014 I'm in. Possibly bringing a friend as well.

Lalo 13 Posted December 11, 2014 Sounds like we'll have a good turnout! Let's try and keep the entire group together on either side of the range. I'll try to get there by 8:45 or so. If anyone gets there earlier, try to do a pickup before anyone starts shooting. Can't wait!
Fzaetz 9 Posted December 11, 2014 I got a new battery!!! Lol Good!! Don't forget to charge it! Lol... Also forgot to mention I'll have my electric thrower too! See you guys Sunday! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
brucin 923 Posted December 11, 2014 I am very disappointed but I can't make it. The wife and I went over all the stuff we need to get done before Christmas and there is just too much stuff. Thanks to everyone who offered to let me use their shotguns. I hope to make the next one. I should have my own by then I hope.
magnawing 5 Posted December 12, 2014 I let my wife know today that my son and I will be doing this on Sunday and when I got home, she handed me one of my Christmas gifts...a thrower. So count me in for 2 people, one shotgun and one thrower. Oh, and by the way...this will be the last Shootout I can make. I got word today that my employer is moving me to Texas in January. (Insert happy dance here...with a 30 rd mag, flash suppressor and adjustable stock) This signature is AWESOME!!!

fishnut 2,358 Posted December 12, 2014 Magnawing- this news calls for a celebratory beer after we are done shooting at clinton station diner down the street from the range! I'll buy your beer if you want to come along.
magnawing 5 Posted December 12, 2014 I'll be there.
DeerSlayer 241 Posted December 13, 2014 Ok I'm definitely in for Sunday, with thrower and new charged battery...
RecessedFilter 222 Posted December 13, 2014 Sunday's gonna be fun! Sorry to hear soon enough you won't be able to hang out and shoot with us anymore, Magnawing. But hopefully you will still visit the forum! At least you will be able to enjoy drum mags and bayonet lugs! Your wife is obviously a keeper by getting you a thrower…we will definitely be breaking it in! I vote Finnagel's by the way. Clinton Station always rubs my stomach the wrong way. But either way, as long as I can get a beer and burger and hangout with everyone, I'm happy!
fishnut 2,358 Posted December 13, 2014 Humm I cant believe I forgot about Finnagles! well maybe because I was not allowed in their for a while (long story) but I am sure they have forgotten about me by now. I am down for Finnagles as I too am not fond of Clinton stations food but what ever works best for Magnawing
fishnut 2,358 Posted December 13, 2014 Parts just arrived for my thrower so its back in action!
magnawing 5 Posted December 13, 2014 Finnagles is even better. Had a bad experience with CS Diner food about 19 years ago and haven't been back. My son will be with me so my beer intake will be limited...not to mention what else I'll have in the car. Don't need a DUI with a gun charge piled on. This signature is AWESOME!!! T Bill 649 Posted December 13, 2014 Listen when you get to Texas, remember true Texans are judged by the number of empty beer cans in the pickup bed. Every time my cousin from there ventures to visit us here he is aways looking in the bed of the truck disappointed by not finding empties in the bed. Can't make tomorrow, so good luck and godspeed.
