Evil featured AR Barrel

Recommended Posts

I'm no lawyer either but always read owning any AR part that isn't compliant is considered constructive intent--thus illegal. I don't believe it makes any mention of the firearm, whether you have all the parts to assemble one, could attach it to another or any other exceptions.

That's just the way I read it, once again i am not a lawyer. Sometimes we invent exceptions that make us feel better.

I was in a gun shop over the summer that had two non compliant uppers. They both had flash hiders that weren't pinned, two issues. They wouldn't sell them until the guy either bought a muzzle brake from them or from somewhere else that they could pin and weld making it legal. Maybe they were being extra cautious?

If you listen around the 40th minute they discuss constructive intent. Anthony summarizes a discussion he had with Evan Nappen on the topic of constructive intent. However, you should consult a professional.
