What is the correct way to block a magazine?

Recommended Posts

"Destroy"? I never heard of such a letter. Text or email it to me please.

LOL, any compounds or inserts used for modification of a mag must contain a small charge of explosive that is set to go off if someone attempts to remove a block destroying the mag and hands of a criminal, trying to squeeze 2 extra rounds... I see it as a great marketable idea :-))) One will then be able to say that not only guns kill people, but mags too...

The letter did not use the word 'destroy". It said "permanent". A lot of people have interpreted that to mean that the block cannot be undone without destroying the mag. You can look up the letter yourself. I was all over Barfcom for a long time. It was dated 01/19/06 and signed by someone named Stephen G Serrao.

We all have seen that letter. That is why I questioned a letter that you saw regarding "destroy" as you stated.

Did you forget that the NJAG said that it was okay to put a temporary block in the mag? Do you have that letter?
