New Holland Rifle & Pistol Club

Recommended Posts

I may have the opportunity to join this place tonight, gotta fight for my spot. Is anyone a member there? It's alittle over a 2hr drive for me.

The ranges include:

A 25/50/100 yard rifle/pistol/shotgun range with covered benches.

A 100 yard rifle/pistol/shotgun range with concrete pad.

A 50-600 yard rifle range with covered benches and a pit system. Target stands at 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600.

Club Steel at 200, 300, 400, 500.

Multiple 7-25 yard pistol and pistol caliber ranges.

A 35 yard pistol and shotgun pit

Any thoughts?

I've only heard good things about NHRPC.  From what I've read at ARFCOM, they've done some recent construction to make it nicer than it was.

If I had the opp to join, I would.  But, you might want to figure how many times you will get out there considering the dues and initiation.

That club was started by guys who worked at New Holland Tractor Co., and it has evolved and grown.  Heard nuthin' but GOOD things about them!  If 600 yds is what you want, then GO for it!

My son lives near Reading, about 45 minutes away from the range.  I would like for him to join, but he's always coming back to Jersey to see his friends on weekends, so it doesn't make sense for him yet...

Take care and be sure to NOT wear a Vermeer hat to the meeting, lol!

I'm a member there and a great club. Once membership hits (1000 members), it's closed.

Also a member at central jersey and mifflin county (1000 yard range). New holland is now 700 yards and plenty far to practice doping wind and shooting for prs. It's 2 hours each way for me and enjoy going there every time because I shoot distance. If you don't do this, central jersey is a great option for general range.

Watch out for the buggies!

I have shot there, great place for distance shooting, the 600 ( now 700) is a ton of fun. As stated, if your intent is just  100yrds, then the drive is not worth it. But a super clean, and fantastic layout for sure. I love that they hang steel if you just want to ring something at different distances, without taking the time to hang 600 yrd targets.

thanks for the invite Bullzeye!  I see ur from Passaic Co, I grew up in Hawthorne & live in Linkin Park now. im a member @ CJRPC and extend u the same offer!

Good to know. I am in Wayne. I belong to Riverdale Pistol and Cherry Ridge if you want to head up someplace more local. I have been to CJRPC a bunch of times. Great place just wish it was closer for us. The 2.5 hour drive is worth it to me to shoot at 700 yards. I like Mifflin in PA alot too but that adds another hour drive so for me it turns out to be an overnighter.
