Polak 3 Posted February 21, 2015 Does anyone have one and if so how do you like it? As far as I know it's below 50oz and seems NJ legal. I need to apply for a permit or two.
Vlad G 345 Posted February 21, 2015 I've shot one once (or one of its cousins, not sure) and my recommendation is to have that itch looked at by a medical professional The one I shot worked fine, but it is awkward, not very good at being a handgun, mostly from being poorly balanced. I have no problem with subguns and SBRs, but there is a reason those have a stock.
JT Custom Guns 956 Posted February 21, 2015 There are tow (2) AB-10's that were produced. One has the barrel shroud, and therefore is no legal in NJ, the other is sometimes referred to as the "JR" is the one that is legal in NJ. (see photo - AB-10 on left and AB-10 JR on right): They are fun to shoot, but not all that accurate, and if you hold the mag / magwell with your off hand, and pull on it while shooting - the magwell can crack. Thus was the achilles heal of that particular model because of the poly lower and long stick mags. I personally own on if you want to look it over before you buy one............. mge_1 2 Posted February 21, 2015 How much do these AB-10 JRs go for?
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted February 21, 2015 If you try it out, make sure you turn it sideways and hold your crotch while shooting.

Polak 3 Posted February 22, 2015 Flash hiders on pistols are legal. Fake cans on pistols are legal. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Not on semi handguns with magazines outside the pistol grip. No barrel shroud, no threaded barrel, can't weigh over 50oz.
Kaiser7 33 Posted February 23, 2015 Semi-related question. I know that GSG is going to be offering a stockless "pistol" remake of the MP40 in 9mm. I'm assuming it will be illegal due to the 50 oz restriction?
