Rob0115 1,105 Posted February 22, 2015 I'm considering a modular safe because of the difficulty in getting a standard one into my house. I looked at Zanotti and snap safe. Are these as good as most consumer grade safes in their respective price ranges? Anyine have practical experience with either of these? Thanks
kman 56 Posted February 22, 2015 Snapsafe is very very nice. I was able to carry every piece down stairs into a basement by myself, but not all in one day. Beware though it arrives on a pallet and you aren't lifting that box it is huge and heavy. No way it can go into a front door. If you don't have a place for the delivery guy to put the pallet (a garage) for interim storage, then you need to open and move everything inside upon receipt, you will need some help unless you are really strong. Rob0115 1,105 Posted February 23, 2015 The only two I know are snap safe and Zanotti. Similarly priced. What size did you get kman? I could stage the pieces in my garage.
