Italian perfection? In my eyes, yes!

Recommended Posts

Just finished installing a bunch of Wilson Combat mods & did the first 'detail cleaning' - I'm super happy with the outcome!

Much thanks to my cousin at Cheyenne Gunsmith and Firearms LLC for getting her for me at only 10% over wholesale!

I have a very similar pistol. Is that a 92 Vertec? I did not know that Wilson Combat made mods for the 92. What type of parts did you install? Anything to help with the horrible trigger pull? They are very reliable guns. I do not think I have ever had a jam.

It's a brand-new production run Brigadier. Beretta started production in October of last year on a limited run of Brigadiers & Vertecs for the 100th anniversary of the company producing semi-auto pistols.

Mods done so far:

  • Genuine Beretta stainless-steel guide rod & 13# titanium nitride recoil spring
  • Genuine Beretta Elite-II skeletonized hammer
  • Genuine Beretta Inox 15rd magazines (got them on sale + a 15%-off e-coupon)
  • Wilson Combat short-reach steel trigger
  • Wilson Combat 16# hammer spring (the 'D-spring' mod)
  • Wilson Combat extended mag release
  • Wilson Combat low-profile single-sided safety

On any 92, a trigger job is 85% in the springs. Once I get about 400 to 500 rounds through her, I will strip-down again & polish the hammer, strut, sear, & trigger bar. She has about a 9lb DA & 4lb SA pull right now with these mods.

wilson sells berettas with their serial number already modded from their shop.  Ottomanelli's had four of them that never hit the shelf.  Wilson MSRP 1300.

I sent my 92FS in to be redone by wilson after buying all the parts I sent them back and I am having them refinish the gun completely.

Fancy!  Ghost grips do have a nice look. Did you build this to be a complete INOX?  Is the mag floor plate the $15 swap on ebay?

100% steel parts... not a bad deal at all.

Thanks man.  This was one of the original Brigs so all parts were INOX.  The skeleton hammer is aftermarket which I had sandblasted.  And the mags are all full INOX as well.  I'm not sure if they still make them unfortunately.

I'm seriously contemplating sending in my m9a1 for their package. Looks like a good deal.

It's a slightly better deal to get a new one from them but the wait is so long I just sent mine.

Ottomanelli's had four that were gone quick. They just say out of stock at Wilson.

The one upside is you can pick your finish and a few other options.
