EX Carnival man 223 Posted March 18, 2015 I don't own an M&P shield but at that price Glock is a little late to the game, and a little high.
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted March 18, 2015 Beretta Nano holds the same number of rounds (or more if you get the extended mags), and is smaller....
DevsAdvocate 112 Posted March 18, 2015 Not bad, but it has some competition. Luckily it is Glock, so the name will sell well. I dunno how I feel about pocket 9mm pistols... they usually aren't that much smaller and harder to conceal over slightly larger ones like G19.
Blacksmythe 71 Posted March 18, 2015 $580......for a single stack 9mm 6+1....They have to cover those blue label pistols some how right.
PK90 3,570 Posted March 18, 2015 Well, considering it only cost <$50 to make each pistol, I don't think price matters.
DevsAdvocate 112 Posted March 18, 2015 Well, considering it only cost <$50 to make each pistol, I don't think price matters. It does... if its too cheap, people will think there is something wrong with it. People are weird like that. Just like how the HS2000 was super cheap (like $300), but then Springfield slapped XD on it and bumped it up to $500.
PK90 3,570 Posted March 18, 2015 That reminds me of a used SxS I had for sale for $150. Nobody looked at it. I cut the barrels down to 18" and upped the price to $300 and it sold.
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted March 18, 2015 Probably will be my first glock
DeerSlayer 241 Posted March 18, 2015 I'll get one, just because. Just because I like buying guns. B)
MidwestPX 172 Posted March 18, 2015 I'll be passing. I carry a G19 or a Shield depending on attire. The G43 does nothing for me.
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted March 18, 2015 I have a nano so I don't really need this. But I like guns

PD2K 115 Posted March 18, 2015 I have no need for a CCW pistol since I can't in NJ. Wake me up when the law changes.
MidwestPX 172 Posted March 18, 2015 You shot the G43 already? Nope. I prefer the Shield's trigger to any of my Glocks and unless Glock has completely redesigned the trigger (which they haven't), I have no interest in it as the G43 would be looking to replace my Shield in the line-up. diamondd817 826 Posted March 18, 2015 Good write up, pics, and comparisons. It's basically the same size as the 26 but thin... Height 4.25" http://www.majorpandemic.com/2015/03/Glock-G43-9mm-Single-Stack-Pistol-Its-here.html

PD2K 115 Posted March 19, 2015 Official confirmation. For Glock fans, its like mana from heaven
Polak 3 Posted March 19, 2015 Since it's the same size but a little thinner, I'll stick with my g27.

Height 4.25" http://www.majorpandemic.com/2015/03/Glock-G43-9mm-Single-Stack-Pistol-Its-here.html It's actually taller than the G26? For those who own/have shot a G42, is that size pocketable?
The Soup Nazi 0 Posted March 19, 2015 I'm leaning more towards the Shield but more competition in the single stack 9mm always benefits the consumer. Plus I'd rather carry the G43 over my Walther P-
carl_g 568 Posted March 19, 2015 It's actually taller than the G26? For those who own/have shot a G42, is that size pocketable? yes with the right pants it is and it's very light. I pocket carry mine all the time.
PK90 3,570 Posted March 19, 2015 I made up a cheat sheet for the small 9mm pistols to compare sizes. All dimensions have been taken from the manufacturers websites and from other sources. They are rounded off and are approximate. YMMV. ETA: If you have a suggestion for another, I can add it.

diamondd817 826 Posted March 19, 2015 It's actually taller than the G26? For those who own/have shot a G42, is that size pocketable? Most single stack 9's are taller then the Glock 26 / 27.
DeerSlayer 241 Posted March 19, 2015 According to the chart PK90 posted my Boberg is still smaller than the G43 and holds more ammo. Can't wait to pick it up 8 more days of OGAM!

The Nano and G26 are listed at 4.17" height. My Nano next to my 26 is taller. Glock's height measurement includes the magazine plate, the Nano's does not. The Nano with the mag inserted is 4.25" high. Not all manufactures measure the same.
