A Sig 556xi that has N.J.  compliant work ,would be legal in N.J.? No issues with the Sig model ?

Nothing that I can see. Stock needs to be fixed length non-folding, barrel length OAL at least 16"(can include perm attached muzzle break), no bayo lug, perm attached muzzle break.  Those are the rules as I see them.
