CCW Safe "Legal Service Membership" for out of state carry

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I am wondering if those of you like myself who carry in other states have obtained any type of legal service such as CCW safe. I have been carrying in FL lately and have heard the CCW Safe commercial on the patriot XM. The website looks legit but I wondered if any of you have subscribed to something like this.

Yes. It is legit. Anyone who carries and does not cover themselves with a service agreement for legal services and coverage for financial protection is nuts. The best part is that for an extra $25 you can add on $1Million in bail coverage.

If you have a personal umbrella policy, it may or may pay an actual civil damage judgment against you arising out of a self defense shooting which is another aspect of potential financial liability. If you do not have an umbrella that affords indemnity coverage, get the NRA policy and couple it with the CCW Safe coverage.By the way, if you are involved in a self defense shooting in NJ, so long as you are lawfully in possession of the weapon at the time of the shooing, it will cover here as well, even if you do not have a NJ carry permit. The foregoing is not legal advice to an identifiable client but is posted for education only.Make sure you understand the difference between a service agreement and indemnity coverage for civil liability and protect yourself with both

If you don't care about the civil liability aspect, but only the criminal, the CCW safe agreement offers advantages over the NRA policy.

I've really got to start digging into this more.

Would like to find a real customer comparison of CCW Safe, Second Call Defense, etc.  that goes beyond their respective marketing departments.

Try this. There is also more material on other areas of this site.
