PeteF 1,044 Posted March 30, 2015 But that has changed. Heller said that the 2A is an individual right and McDonald said that it applies to the states. So the foundation of Sicardi - which created the definition of justifiable need - is no longer legally valid. In fact, the definition is a flagrant violation of these two binding rulings. In fact ALL of NJ's gun law is Invalid and ILLEGAL. The premise of NJ firearm law is that all firearm possession is illegal except under the carved exemptions. from Heller and MacDonald this was COMPLETELY invalidated. But yet this shit still is on the books. Funny how that works. Five years later these ILLEGAL laws are still on the books yet the 2nd amendment groups only want to go after "Justifiable Need". And you wonder why we are where we are at.
ChrisJM981 924 Posted March 30, 2015 If you invalidated all the laws at once, how would attorneys charge $500/hr for representation in firearm litigation? Falls into the same line of logic why legislators allow our justice system to be a revolving door; if you lock them all up you do not receive repeat business. They're looking out for their fellow attorneys.
Kevin125 4,772 Posted March 30, 2015 Here are a few of my favorite issues with Christie He's anti second amendment at his core He supports the global warming farce He is Pro illegal alien by the fact that he allows this state to be a sanctuary

THEY are the official arm of the NRA in NJ. It is up to THEM to be pro active and focused on NJ and NJ alone. Grab the 2A gauntlet, some balls andgo for it. How is it a bunch of guys on a forum can post the relevant case laws butwe hear crickets about an agenda to push thru the judicial system? Or maybe its because there already is a super secret society? haha. ANJRPC should hang their heads in shame that the people of this state have to resort to fending for themselves by setting up their own 2A groups (and I'm losing track of who's who and doing what) and face the biased legal system for any hope at all. How about suits against NJ? Why waste time, money, and manpower on that? We should be organized in numbers on the steps of the state house every time they're in session! Until they hear us. That's what the anjrpc isn't doing.
jackandjill 683 Posted April 1, 2015 The organizations arent doing anything for same reason elected officials arent doing anything. No pressure from people. When is the last time any demanded ANJRPC or other age old organizations to do anything ? Let them know why you are not renewing, then they will listen.
