Last Saturday nics?

Wondering if it was just my bad luck or was nics rot responding to any check Saturday?.... Drove over an hr to pick up a pistol straight from a 19hr shift ..was submitted @1230... Stood around/sat in vehicle until 1600...chrcked with ffl said it still wasn't back but " should hear back Monday probably".... Drove an hr home pissed off.... So having not purchased in state for a while is this the current situation? Or is it possible the ffl screwed up the submission somehow? Hopefully I'll hear from him today and take another trip up for a 4 hr total drive time to make a purchase

For my last three purchases NICS took 30 seconds, several hours (I left the shop so not sure exactly how long), and 20-30 minutes. 

 

You never know.

I also was "delayed" on Saturday.  Steve at Monmouth called up the SP and they informed him that the person that handles the delays was off on Saturday.  Monday morning would be first chance to get it looked at.

I got burned as well on Saturday. I went to SimonPeter's  to look at a Shotgun. I forgot to ask if NCIS was taking long before I got started with my paperwork.  I filled out my paperwork at 14:30 no answer back by 17:00. and as of 14:00 today still no word from them that it has cleared. I am so glad they fixed NCIS to make it better.

NICS has been down across the US. I got the following at 9:04MST, which is 6:04EDT.

The NICS has been out of service since approximately 10:00 this morning. Specialists are on site working to resolve the problem; however no estimated time frame has been reported at this time. As soon as we have any additional information, we will let you know.

Didn't hear of any problem with PICS at the Oaks show Saturday :)

 

But you don't have to worry about that with most customers anyway I would assume.

 

It was just down today for a few hours.
