Burns 16 Posted April 9, 2015 Very nice man, did you notice any used Glock 9mm's at Shooters while you were there? My sister in law has a permit to burn by early next month.

tony357 386 Posted April 9, 2015 How many rounds does it hold? 5+1 for both the 380 and 45 you would think the 380 held more..

DeerSlayer 241 Posted April 12, 2015 I always had a soft spot for this auto mag. If I ever find one of these Clint's I'm buying it!
GRIZ 3,369 Posted April 12, 2015 5+1 for both the 380 and 45 you would think the 380 held more.. The 45 is bigger than the 380. I had a 380 I carried back in the early 80s. It ran well and it shot for me about the same as a j frame. The only criticism I had is the safety would move too easily.
Smokin .50 1,907 Posted April 17, 2015 I always had a soft spot for this auto mag. If I ever find one of these Clint's I'm buying it! I shot this gun last Saturday. Those hyper-velocity 300 grain HP rounds sure chewed-up some bowling pins, lol! It's NOT a .44 Magnum. It's a .44 Supermag with rifle brass formed down to .44 cal. Dirty Harry wouldda been proud! Smokin .50 1,907 Posted April 18, 2015 you pop that thing one handed like Dirty Harry? lol I did freestyle first (2 hands) in a Weaver stance. 2nd mag I did strong-hand only. Harry was right, "if used properly it will REMOVE THE FINGERPRINTS"! LOL! What a BLAST that thing was to shoot!

In new condition i am assuming it was hardly ever used being a back up..AMT .380 back up.. Old School Pistol.. upload a picture My parents had one. Shot it a lot as a teen. It was my mom's carry gun when they owned a store in the late 70's/early 80's. They have a reputation of jamming but I never had any problems with the one my parents owned. Very heavy for a compact carry guy by today's standards.

Oakridgefirearms 224 Posted April 22, 2015 Most AMT guns are prone to having issues. There is an AMT forum and guys on there will talk about how some AMT's are more for collecting than shooting - some because they are chambered in obscure calibers and some because they are know to have function issues. Mostly what this one is for collecting.. My hardballer runs good... but i did change out the hammer, grip safety and extractor.. actually started out uspsa with it.. I shoot them, but they can be finicky at times.
