Polak 3 Posted April 17, 2015 I know it's not a great deal, but for for the price you can only get garbage ammo online. KY Gun Co has CCI mini mags for $9.99 per 100. If you get the max 10 boxes, the shipping is about $15.70. Not bad considering you can't find any quality .22lr for an OK price. http://www.kygunco.com/22lr-hp-mini-mag-36gr-box-100rd-27023 I'm not trying to get people to buy at these prices (so maybe they'll finally go down) but if you NEED CCIs, this is an OK deal. mipafox 438 Posted April 17, 2015 Correction, CCI are $7.47 at Walmart.
Polak 3 Posted April 17, 2015 Correction, CCI are $7.47 at Walmart. Great. But in north east jersey, there is no ammo at Walmart. Drive to PA to maybe be able to buy it with a limit, plus gas and tolls and time, is not worth the $30 "savings". It will be shipped to the house without you leaving to get it

Heavyopp 167 Posted April 17, 2015 Heritage guild all locations had mini mags for $8.50 a box -- I bought 10 Not sure if they still have them but might be worth a call

The Walmarts around me don't sell ammo either, plus the savings not worth the drive to the sticks.

I think most don't have limits on .22 anymore, some still do though.

mipafox 438 Posted April 17, 2015 It's not worth the hassle to everyone. I'm not suggesting everyone do it. I don't have stock in Walmart. It's cheaper than the way you get it and cheaper than the way the guy going to Heritage gets it. I'm sure somebody is happy to know even if it makes you angry for some bizarre reason

That is a heck of a deal right now! I love that stuff. It's subsonic out of a rifle and it cycles full auto with suppressor I have to see how much I have, I might head to the PA Herritage. Has anyone seen .22WMR anywhere? I've seen it at Walmart and online. You are pretty far from us, I assume you mean online?
mipafox 438 Posted April 17, 2015 I see .22 WMR online several places at gunbot and gundeals: http://gunbot.net/ammo/rimfire/22wmr/ http://gun-deals.com/list/ammo/.22+WMR It's 29 cents a round and up but I don't know what it is supposed to cost. I only checked Palmetto and it's in stock there but it appears several places have it: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/19179/s/armscor-22-magnum-40gr-jhp-ammunition-50rds-50018ph/category/4459/ I saw some yesterday but I forget where. PK90 3,570 Posted April 17, 2015 Thanks The Armscor is the cheapest, but about 20% above wholesale. Oh well.
The brew guy 22 Posted April 17, 2015 GSA has had mini-mags the last few times I was there.I don't remember the price but it wasn't unreasonable.

Lalo 13 Posted April 18, 2015 Hey, whoever bought from KGC, let me know how bad the plastic boxes are mangled when you get it. Also, check the box for any ORM-D stickers... I'm curious.

Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted April 25, 2015 Hey, whoever bought from KGC, let me know how bad the plastic boxes are mangled when you get it. Also, check the box for any ORM-D stickers... I'm curious. Mine arrived yesterday in perfect condition. Have you had bad experiences with KGC, or was this just sour grapes?
Lalo 13 Posted April 25, 2015 Haven't had incredibly bad experiences with them, but the two times that I ordered mini-mags from them, both times the plastic packaging was damaged. There was a thread about this not too long ago where a few people ordered these from them because they were on sale, only to find their ammo boxes broken when they arrived. When KGC was contacted, they claimed the damage must have happened during transit even though the cardboard shipping box was not damaged at all. On my first order, the mini-mag plastic boxes were mangled and ammo was everywhere. The second order the plastic boxes were not mangled, but all of them were cracked. I'm curious if they're getting damaged boxes at a cheaper rate and still charging regular price for the ammo. The other thing was that I thought no matter what ammo you're shipping, you have to mark the outside box with a ORM-D sticker. Both of my orders came in plain UPS boxes with no indication that there was ammo inside. I don't care much about this, but I don't know what the repercussions are of not following this rule. Does the receiver get in trouble? The shipper? Does it not matter?
Polak 3 Posted April 26, 2015 Mine came in while I was in Canada. Just went over the package and it was good and no damage at all. No ORM-D sticker either.
