planenut 59 Posted April 24, 2015 I have to ask a question about your admittance policy. I understand from your website you require someone coming in by themselves to rent and shoot, to have an FPID. I wanted to ask what the reasoning behind that policy was, especially since other ranges only require a drivers license. I'm currently in the application process for an FPID and while I'm waiting I'm trying out different guns to see what I like. Also I work afternoons/evenings and weekends so it's tough getting someone else going along with me.

Further I believe Anthony HAS addressed this more than once, it is sad but it's because of suicides and the lawsuits afterward.
magnawing 5 Posted April 25, 2015 My local range here in TX won't rent to anyone who comes in alone. The sign at the door clearly states that you must have a friend or relative with you to rent firearms. This signature is AWESOME!!!

I'm a loner and a loner's gotta be alone But in all seriousness, being the FNG, I wasn't aware suicide was such a big problem at the ranges.
