effd27145 0 Posted April 26, 2015 http://tacticaltraining.aspdotnetstorefront.active-e.net/t-facility.aspx lol this website is hilarious. Is this real life? "One of the few NJ Ranges that can accommodate a 50 caliber BMG" "40 yard gun range (nearly double the standard 25 yard range)" Two of these phrases do not go together....can you guess? Just one of a number of laughable points on that website. I think I will pass.

oldguysrule649 397 Posted April 26, 2015 Something certainly seems suspect about this site. Leaves me wondering about the real motives of those who created it. The fake gunstore in Manhattan comes to mind.
magnawing 5 Posted April 26, 2015 The site is full of incongruities. From the "tacticool" instructors to the 40 yard 50 BMG range
ReadDude 0 Posted April 26, 2015 Two possible ways to look at this, we are getting trolled ala Bloomberg or the owners let one of their kids do the website for their freshman html class. Yikes. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

dobie 0 Posted April 26, 2015 There was an article in the Hunterdon County Democrat back in February http://www.nj.com/hunterdon-county-democrat/index.ssf/2015/02/indoor_gun_range_coming_to_raritan_township.html If this is for real the website needs work. I like tongue-in-cheek but this is ridiculous. From a design standpoint the website sucks...it's really bad!

I like tongue-in-cheek but this is ridiculous. From a design standpoint the website sucks...it's really bad! I read up a bit on the Suk's and I think you are right, they are trying to go for the tongue in cheek (Mr. Suk does appear to have a few bit parts on TV and seems to want to play that up.) I hope the rest of their range development plans are better executed than the web-site. I only live 10 minutes away and would really really like the opportunity to drain my wallet locally! magnawing 5 Posted April 26, 2015 Looks like they got some feedback on their website (or maybe they've been reading this thread). The misspellings have been corrected and it looks more professional now...not like their daughter built the site for a high school computer class. This signature is AWESOME!!! The other possibility (based on the fact that the link really re-directs what may be an internal development copy) is that they accidentally got published before they were ready! That would be too bad, maybe they should play that up a bit.
Golf battery 1,223 Posted April 27, 2015 Has anyone been there yet? It is a bit of a quandary. Its a made for tv range ad. Or so it seems. Whats the cost?

RecessedFilter 222 Posted April 27, 2015 What a joke that website is. Seems like the whole place is a joke with a $30 per hour rifle price tag. Ouch.
Damjan 73 Posted May 11, 2015 Here is an update on Mr and Mrs Smith RARITAN TWP. — The first shot will be fired at a new indoor gun range sometime this summer. That's the prediction of Joan and Dan Suk of Readington Township, owners of the Tactical Training Center. Right now it looks like you could park a jumbo jet or two inside the industrial building at 10 Minneakoning Road. But 45 tons of steel will be arriving soon to create 12 shooting lanes, each 40 yards long. The front of the building, which had co http://www.nj.com/hunterdon-county-democrat/index.ssf/2015/05/hunterdon_shooting_range_recruits_top-gun_staff.html

Newtonian 453 Posted June 10, 2015 So you have to pay $12.50/hr in addition to $495 for the cheapest membership? I'm glad I live on the po' side of town. Kinda looks like the Alamo. Keep an eye out for Santa Ana.

Avalanche 42 Posted June 11, 2015 Looks like the membership is 50% off the walk in price. You would have to shoot a minimum of 20 hours a year to have it break even. If you shoot a lot, it could be worth it.

ReadDude 0 Posted June 18, 2015 Drove by the property two days ago and there is absolutely no sign of activity on the outside. ogfarmer 138 Posted June 18, 2015 there's been some activity, mostly in rear where loading docks are. They replied to someones question on FB page if they were opened yet and said no, and would make a announcement when they new for sure.
