Where would you pin this stock?

Recommended Posts

Thanks guys. I was thinking of pinning it on the bottom of the lever. Do you think this would hold up? Also, is this method acceptable even though it's not pinned to the tube itself? I'm pretty sure the law only states it has to be a permanent pin, and makes no mention of it having to be pinned to the tube, but I want to make sure.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but I'm not aware of any statutory language or NJSP rulings that says it has to be a permanent pin. It just says the stock can't be folding/telescoping, and the permanency of any such modification isn't mentioned. I understand the ATF has made rulings what constitutes a permanent installation of a muzzle device on a threaded barrel, but nothing about fixing stocks.

Bring it here - I'll pin it for you in 5 minutes.........................

I might take you up on that offer. I have a buddy who does this type of work on the side, and he'd do it for me for free, but you are closer.... What would be your charge if I may ask? I do need to put in a end plate QD mount as well, so I'd need to take the tube off of the receiver.
