Directions to Colliers Mills Range

Can anyone give me clear directions to the range at Colliers mills?  I tried finding it on Google maps and sat image but there are no directions to the range, just the general vicinity.  I'd be coming from 195.  Thanks.

Hi, can give you more exact directions one I get home. But some quick input now since I also had problems finding the entrance. Take I-195 to the Great Adventure exit. (16 I think). Drive past the entrance to great adventure and in about a mile or so, make a left at the light onto Hawkins Road. At this point do NOT follow your GPS. Stay on Hawkins Road for about four miles. The entrance will be on your left. Once you make the left into cm, you will see the lake on your left. Assuming you are going to the range, proceed straight and follow the range signs. When you see the archery range, the rifle/muzzleloader range is next to it. Ie do not continue on the main road.

That's probably enough to get me close enough.  Once I see the signs I should be okay.  Interesting though, the sat image shows there are numerous clearings throughout the WMA, none that I can identify as a range though.  Wonder what's up with that?

Per Google Earth, the spot on Hawkins Road where you make the left into CM is:  Latitude 40 degrees 4'3.44" N;  Longitude 74 degrees 26'59.43" W.

The range itself is: Latitude 40 degrees 4'48.54" N;  74 degrees 25'46.37" W

 

 

p.s. also just noticed all those other clearings.  Am curious to explore them when I am there next time.
