P226 slide 9mm

anybody knows a place I can get P226 9mm slide (wud love to get elite one but anything works really) ....

I want to see how much cheaper / expensive it's gonna be to get a slide, barrel, spring , rod .... vs getting a x-change kit ...

I think if you were on the sigtalk forum 2 or 3 weeks ago, you could've had a great shot at sourcing a good price.

 

I missed out when someone put up an elite stainless p229 FRAME up for sale =(  I missed it by about an hour...  was hoping to have a matching p229 elite stainless with a p226 I'm about to pick up from another forum member here

As posted above, Just keep an eye on SigTalk.   An Elite 9mm complete slide just went for 250.00 it was up for about a day.

Yeah for the price of the barrel conversion, I would rather spend a little more and have an extra full upper half.  I think it would be more worth the money =)

 

Don't those barsto barrels require some level of fitting on sigs?

copy that. I agree plus I'm not really in a rush so I will wait for the right deal...

yes I do think it requires extra fitting ... which add to the cost cause i would've given it to a gunsmith .
