Nice Sock Drawer Find: Beretta 950BS Jetfire .25 ACP

Visiting My old man in Arizona and I brought my M&P 340 to CC while I'm here. Started talking guns and he remembered he had bought this a while back but never fired it.

 

Has all the original accessories plus some neat extras. Bianchi IWB Holster, Altamont Grips, extra Mag (I believe it only came with one)

 

Anyway it's a first for me so i thought I'd share it.

 

I need to figure out (if I could convince him to give or sell it to me) if I can just take it back with me on the plane or do I need to ship it through a FFL...

I've had one for about 35 years. Very accurate if you can learn to work with the tiny sights. Just for fun I shot a qual course and was able to max it. That included 25 yd shooting. Mine has been 100% reliable.

I've had one of these for more than 25 years. Love it. I used to 25 +p but I don't know if they make that anymore.

It fits really snug. Will leather holsters typically rub off a blued finish? Been calling around all day trying to find .25 ACP. Nothing in stock. Looks like I won't be able to shoot it while I'm over here.

The "unlined" Bianchi thumb breaks I've had wear the finish.  Look where the snaps hit the slide and if it's tight the sharp edges of the pistol get worn,

 

Just saying it's so F@cking pretty you don't want to mar it.

Old school is right on regarding the thumb breaks. I haven't carried mine every day but when I do its in first a leather and now a neoprene pocket holster. Bluing is still 99%.
