United Airlines censor

I was stuck in Denver Airport yesterday in the United Club and had to use their wifi and they wouldn't let me on this site.

I tried the NJ Fishing site and no problem but if I tried njgunforums.com I got a warning message saying the this was not an approved site and they wouldn't connect me.

If I turned off wifi and tried to use data  I got a "no mobile data" message along with a blank screen.

 Bad enough to be stuck there for hours but this adds insult to injury.

Not uncommon for "public" wifi to subscribe to parental control type services to make sure no one is browsing child porn or whatever on their network. However, a lot of the parental control software also classifies weapons bad for children (and adults stuck in airports).

Funny, I flew out of Denver last October and was surfing NJGF without issue.

I think it was a United thing.

I've gotten on the site at other airports, even Toronto.

I'll be able to try again in a week and a half when I bring my baby out to school.

She got into the Air Force Academy.

They did it again but this time with a warning that the viewing of weapons/bombs is not allowed in the United Club.

Site worked fine when I switched off wifi.

 

BTW my baby made it through basic training and is now coping with "doolie" (freshman) life in the Academy.
