Does anyone know why they were removed from the handgun range?

You can still shoot metal at the multi-purpose range. Make sure to bring your bb gun.

I was there literally 2 week ago and was shooting at metal!! I'll ask an RO, they are usually very helpful.

anyone know the true distence of the plates? I keep forgetting my rangefinder and each RO I asked had a dif answer lol.

The rifle range already had metal. I know because I was told to stop shooting it on the coldest day in January during an informal competition. My ammo, it seems, was either armor-piercing or explosive. "Fires. They cause fires" I was told, even though it was the 100-yard range with sufficient burmage and there was a foot of snow on the ground.

Yeah the entire right side of the 100 yard had plates, and the pistol had like 5. But i do recall an RO saying dont shoot the broken ones at the 100.

The targets were down for a match and were put back up the very next morning.
