Why?  I am in the process of building another light weight one for running and gunning.  So far, it's cheaper than my AR as I'm finding a lot of parts on sale now.  The only thing missing now are the barrel and optic.

 

Feeding it is a different story though.  Even if I reload, the bullets themselves are not cheap.

Yeah it is nice. Here are the specs

Well, if you are picking parts like that, it's definitely going to cost you.  I would probably have to sell some organs to build a Christensen Arms.

What's the intended use for this? Range toy? Or are you chasing the bleeding edge of precision shooting? If you're going for the latter, I'd suggest you skip the .308 caliber altogether and build this in one of the 6mm or 6.5mm calibers.
