pitt1717 0 Posted July 10, 2015 So I think for the price the range is enough for me right now and after some of the comments in the cr thread I had I think I'm gonna skip it. But had a couple of questions Can I sign up online and shoot the next/same day? Are there target stands there already? Do they sell paper targets at the range? As I know no one from this range. Do they offer a day pass to try? Thanks for the help. I'm trying to get there tomorrow 7/11 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ReadDude 0 Posted July 10, 2015 there is no "shop" to buy targets you gotta bring your own, this is a DIY range. you can stop at Sarco in Easton on the way to buy your membership and shoot the same day (i didn't do that, but I understand other folks regularly do that.) they have targets too i believe. there are plywood or rubber target backs available to place targets upon, bring a stapler... sometimes they are pretty shot up, bring cardboard and or your own 1/8" plywood to mount upon. another good thing to bring is some heavy gauge wire for hanging your target backs at the pistol ranges as those seem to disappear on a regular basis. i don't know of day passes, but lots of us have guest passes and you could offer a day on this forum and someone may be able to bring you along. i have sporadic access to go to the range and could consider it if my availability works out. Lalo 13 Posted July 10, 2015 Tomorrow morning until 12 is the work party so don't expect to shoot until then. Sometimes it gets busy right after the work party it's everyone waiting to shoot so just a heads up. You can sign up online right now, print out the receipt and go shooting immediately afterwards, same day.
T Bill 649 Posted July 10, 2015 You not going to beat the price. A little bit of a travel for you, but i think worth the money. No day passes available, but if you go tomorrow morning when they are closed for cleanup i'm sure someone will help you to see if it fits for you. If it does buy your membership and have at it, if not move on no harm no foul. Maybe hookup on somebody's guess badge if you can.
fishnut 2,358 Posted July 10, 2015 I am going to try and go next Friday evening and I can guest you in if you don't get in before that.
