Semi Auto Rifle With Fixed Magazine

Are there any semi auto rifles other than the SKS that have a fixed magazine and load from strip clips? The only other rifles that load that way that I can think of are bolt action.

If you want to split hairs, an M14 is semi auto and can feed from clips.

are you doing this for compliance reasons? you want to maintain some other 'evil' features?

 

if so, you can do a fixed magazine mod for the AR-15. These were popular in new york during the AWB (not sure if still so), but basically, it's a permanently fixed magazine that's loaded by removing the takedown pin, and hinging the upper away from the lower. The beauty of this design is that you can use clips (via a strip-lula type device) to load the mag quickly.
