This just goes to show how messed up the justice system in NJ is. They call it a fatal shooting when it's murder. Charges were pleaded down from murder and attempted murder to illegal possession of a handgun. What a joke this state is. One guy is getting 7 so he'll be out in 3.5, the accomplice was charged with obstruction and is getting time served. Another ****bag back on the streets.

I think the issue here is that they had the gun but probably weren't the shooters. They may have just found or had been sold the gun. The article seems to dance around this key point. We need more information about this shooting before we can say they let two murderers off.

It's likely the state couldn't prove one of them pulled the trigger, so the charges fell back to what they could prove - the possession charge.

I find it impossible to believe that a check cashing business did not have security cameras.

 

If they didn't then the owner of that place is a real dumb cluck.
