Flash hider

Is a threaded flash hider for a pistol legal in NJ?

Picked up an HK with a threaded barrel. I know suppressors are a no-no but the flash hider would be cool.

I thought a flash hider and a flash suppressor are one in the same. However, I don't see any practical reason to put one on.

It says a threaded barrel that accepts a flash suppressor. The FH is not evil, the barrel is. But as pointed out, it is only one feature.

Flash hiders are not illegal. Having a threaded barrel that accepts a flash hider makes it one evil feature.
