Moto102 7 Posted July 20, 2015 Hello I have a question hopefully you guys can give me some clarity. My co worker, who lives in PA, wants to purchase some long guns and handguns from my collection. I've been getting conflicting answers on the proper procedure. From what I'm told, I'm allowed to ship the firearms just as you would any other package to a PA FFL who will do the NICS check on the buyer. Does this sound accurate? I do not have to involve a NJ FFL??
T Bill 649 Posted July 20, 2015 Yes, providing the receiving PA FFL is willing to accept from NON FFL. Some will not accept shipments from NON FFL shippers, only licensed FFLs. So, you better check ahead to see what requirements the PA FFL wants. Just meet him at a PA FFL that will do the transfer, easier than shipping. Fedex and UPS have stupid rules about shipping firearms and NJ FFL to PA FFL is just too damn expensive. Someone will be paying the NJ FFL to send it out and the PA FFL to receive.
